A fully automated modern Library & Information centre catering the information needs of the students and staff by providing books, periodicals and dailies. Open Access facility and books in the library are bar-coded for easy circulation. The library is automated with E-granthalaya software (recently migrated to Eg3 to Eg4 under process) NIC, Delhi.The library with a collection of 3234 books which includes Reference books, Fiction, Non- fiction, Text books and subject books. The Library subscribes 10 magazines and 3 newspapers (The Hindu, The Indian Express and Malayalam Manorama).
Library of Kendriya Vidyalaya Thalassery conducted reading challenge on holidays. Book donation camp (Pusthakopahar). Collected good conditioned text books from students of class 1 to 9 and distributed to their juniors. Conducted Library month celebration to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sri PN Paniker the father of granthalaya movement in Kerala. In connection with various competitions, special programmes were conducted in the morning assembly. Library procured sixteen wooden tables, sixty wooden chairs, four book shelves and one printer. Apart from that 76 books in Hindi and 52 English were added in the library.
